Just advertised today on WWW.MOTORSPORT- EVENTS.COM

I am the second car to book

Anyone else fancy a spin?

CASTLE COMBE TRACK DAY

We are thrilled to announce our second track day at Castle Combe Circuit in Wiltshire. Our first event there in June was a sell out and due to popular demand we have secured another event at this popular track. Places are strictly limited and are on a first come first served basis. Book online now to avoid missing out!

Friday 29th August £199 Open Pit Lane = Unlimited Track Time!

Customer comments from our June event included:

'Just wanted to say a quick thank you. In 5 years of doing trackdays I have never been to a circuit track day that has been so well organised, free from stoppages and had such a friendly attitude from other drivers when out on track. Definitely one to remember!'

Once again the day will be overseen by our very own Ed Moore who has unrivalled knowledge of Castle Combe and has won over 30 races outright at this track. Who better to ask advice for negotiating the tricky approach into Quarry corner or for understanding how to maximise your exit speed out of Camp corner?

In car coaching will be available from our regular team of superb instructors who are race winners at Castle Combe. 20 minute lessons are excellent value at £20 and an hour of coaching spread through the day is only £50.

Castle Combe Circuit operate with a 100dB(A) noise limit.

Book online www.motorsport- events.com

Bookings are now being taken. To secure your places book online or call the booking hotline on 0870 787 2116 or if you would prefer to pay by cheque you can download a booking form by clicking this link: Booking Form

Yep my MINI will be setup well once I get the coilovers fitted. I still need to find a way of getting my exhaust sound tested to make sure it isn't over the limit for Castle Combe.

Dave c'mon man get your car ready - 6 weeks should be enough time?

John remember this is a full track day not just sessions so it's well worth the £199

I will have to see Max. If I can get the day off work and possibly get Hoang to come along and pay half I might go.

Do you know anywhere I can go to get my exhaust noise level tested as I don't want to pay the £199 to turn up and find my car is over the 100db limit. I'm running GTT manifold with decat and reroute pipe on standard exhaust (minus one silencer) and is very very noisey.

er.. when they say 100DbA at 1 metre and they ask you to rev to 4500 rpm just go to 4400?

I passed last time on 101DbA but a scooby on 125 was turned away.

Just go to any tuner company who should be able to do this for you.

Hope to see you there

Oy!!!!

Mine was first! Now she lives on inside the shell of Jons

You will be amazed at how much better it is Jon...

Noise wise, if in doubt, we can stick the CAT back in as its fooked anyway - it passed at Gwood at 96 with that setup and a JCW zorst...

Probably not I am afraid. I need a cheap airfield day first with some long instruction as the Tango-mobile is VERY different to drive to the MINI. Plus it tops out at 115 at the mo due to a low diff so It'll be a bit slow on the straights...
