Hi All,

A few of us have been talking about doing a trip to Alton Towers later in the year and maybe making it into a long weekend. I need to look into the costs of staying at the Alton towers hotels but Dave and Paula also know of a place about 3miles from the park that might be better and cheaper.

I've had a look at what other events are running in September and we seem to have quite a lot. I suggest we see about going on any of the below dates in October.

4/5 October
11/12 October
18/19 October

The last weekend in October is the start of half term for schools so I wouldn't suggest going then unless we really have to.

If people can vote and post up which dates you can make we can then decide when is best to go. The sooner we can agree on a date the better chances we have off getting the places we stay at booked.
I have made the poll multiple choice so you can click on more than one answer.

One other thing, if you come accross any vouchers, special offers, etc for Alton Towers please keep hold of them or post the details in here. I already know about the Walkers Brit Trips offer that gives you half price entry and have started collecting the points from special packs of crips.

People interested in going
1. John and maybe my brother Paul
2. Joanne
3. Dave and Michelle

I take it you and Paula are still interested in going?

Yes car share will be highly recommended. This will be a social event and not a MINI run so we don't need everyone driving their own MINI.

Depending on if my brother goes and also Gaz I might end up going in my brother's TT.

Ive got some vouchers and can get loads more, its for upto 2 adluts £16 each and 2 children £11 . So its a good saving on the £35 you would pay.
I can pick a load more vouchers up from school tomorrow.
I also have some kids go free tickets as well if anyone is bring children.
