and my flaming MINI   Registered Member #7 Joined: Mon Oct 03 2005, 11:00PMLocation: Bournemouth Posts: 1750 | Right folks, we will be having two convoys running the below routes. (see also attached autoroute files) 1. Salisbury Tesco - Chippenham - Castle Combe Circuit (45.5 miles) 2. Ringwood - Shaftesbury - Chippenham - Castle Combe Circuit (67.6 miles) Convoy 1 - Leader John (cooper_sport) The first convoy will be starting from Tesco is Salisbury at 6am getting to Chippenham service area (PUP1 - by the travel inn) around 7.20am. If meeting here please arrive by 7.15am so we can go right away. We will then head stright to the track and enter via the competitors entrance. Once you have handed over you ticket to get in take the very first right turn and head up this road to almost the end. We are about the 5th/6th plot from the end and will hopefully be sign posted with our club name. Convoy 2 - Leader Arron (Mini-Poser) This convoy will be running a bit later for those of you that can't get up too early. Meeting at Ringwood long stay car park at 7.15am. Then heading to Shaftesbury and meeting in the Tesco car park around 8am (PUP1) You will then head stright to the track and enter via the competitors entrance. Once you have handed over you ticket to get in take the very first right turn and head up this road to almost the end. We are about the 5th/6th plot from the end and will hopefully be sign posted with our club name. If you could let me know if you will be joining any of the convoys and which places you will join it at. If you know of somewhere along the route you would like us to stop and pick you up at let me know and I will add it to the list. If you are unable to make the convoys don't worry. Just give me a call on my mobile (you will get pm later this week) before you get to the track and I will wait down by the entrance with you free admission ticket. I will be going directly to Salisbury and meeting Dave there and then heading across to the track. This will make the route a little quicker for us and mean I can sleep in an extra 15min or so. | ||

There seems to be some confusion, however, regarding the timing. Is it your understanding that clubs with stands need to be there for 0900? | ||

No not at shaftesbury, they do in blandford though must be something like 99.9p as normal is 94.9 now. | ||

Now as long as you have a few cars setup ready and the rest turn up a bit later that should be fine. They can't stop people from coming in later to the club section since we have to be able to move from the clubs onto the track. | ||
