Arron has just informed me that Tesco are all out of 99ron for the next couple of weeks. This means I now have to use V-power for the track tommorrow and find one local to the track.

Yep!

Seems like massive delivery problems around this area...Not sure about Southampton, but NO Super Unleaded of ANY kind for the next 2 weeks!

CONVIENENTLY after the 5p off per litre offer finishes....

Yes it was a really good day!

Glad to meet alot of you "Northerners" that I haven't seen in a long time!

Hope to see lots of footage of the cars on the track!

Did Gaz have any footage of his little incident? Hehehe!

And loving the picture of the spoiler that can pick up Continental TV and the picture of Wing Commander Wood looking very dashing!

Will sort out the pics I have some point tomorrow I think. Busy day again today and totally shattered

Some great track action and that last session has to be the best track time ive ever had. Flat out for the whole session fligging the MINI into the chicanes and corners and the race pads and tyres never gave up once. Fantastic! Also the biggest off at the chicane ive seen in that session too with the classic totally destroying the bollard and probably his side too. Avoiding the mess lap after lap was interesting too I WANNA GO AGAIN!!!

John, looking forward to the video big time and thanks for organising the event

Thanks to everyone for turning up yesterday and making it a great day. shades.png

Weather yesterday was just like the previous year, wet to start with then drying out in the afternoon. I have to agree with Dave that yesterday track time was the best one I have done in the MINI. Fun first two session's in the wet sliding around and then a amazing last session on a dry track.
Think next year if it's wet I will make sure to have some Goodyears or Avon's fitted to my other alloys as the Nankangs just didn't have the grip lvl I'm used to having. Saying that though the Nankangs were very predictable and fun to play with. In dry conditions the Nankangs are fantastic as Jo will know from us following Alex around.

Have to say a big thank you to Jo for the lovely cake at lunch time even though I didm't eat all of my portion. shy.png

I will organise this event again next year now I know what I'm doing. Think we can aim to arrive at the track a little later say around 8.30am this time.   Have to say Castle Combe do give the clubs a very good offer....free admission tickets, free parade lap, discount track time.

I will try and work on the video today and see about hosting it somewhere for peeps to watch. Might need your help with the hosting Dave.

Hope everyone else enjoyed it as much as I did. amazed.png

John not sure the Avons were that great either with a certain someone having big problems and taking to the grass like a lawn mower I guess its not really possible to have a tyre thats best of both worlds.....

Yeah,

Can't really say too much about Avon's They were brilliant for the 3rd session.
as for in the rain.... They were good but I think there was a limit and I may of accidently gone over that limit once.

But as least I left my mark on thier track/grass
